# What is Páteo?

Páteo is one of the most beautiful Portuguese cuisine restaurants in Lisbon and is signed by chef José Avillez. It is a welcoming, spacious and bright space and is part of Bairro do Avillez, in Chiado, created by chef José Avillez to celebrate the best Portuguese products and flavours in a beautiful, comfortable and lively setting.

Páteo is also an entertainment space and has a musical entertainment Agenda that includes intimate concerts with dinner and Fado Nights.

 Páteo is located inside Bairro do Avillez, on Rua Nova da Trindade, in Chiado, close to Baixa, Rossio, Bairro Alto, Príncipe Real, theatres, shops and several cultural points of interest in Lisbon. It is open for lunch and dinner, every day. Booking is recommended, especially for dinner, weekends, groups and evenings with programming, but it is also a good option for lunch or dinner without a reservation.
